Heading that way soon. Any suggestions on where to get a decent meal - Leakey or Concan, or other?
I put this in the wrong place, didn’t I. Oh well…

The Country Club there used to have really good food. Brother's post wedding meal was cooked and served there.

First off, I do not believe you will find a decent shrimp cocktail. Likely not to find one on a menu at all. Preety much the same thing goes if you are going to be requiring good, attentive service. I would say good luck there. If you do stumble across good service, would you let me know.
Gypsy Sally's across from the Mercantile in downtown Leakey has an Ausin vibe with, get this, a full liquor bar. Definitely the only liquor by the drink anywhwere nearby. Burgers, very good salads, quesadillas and more. We like this place with its indoor/outdoor vibe.
If you desire something fancy, the Drug Store is where its at. A suprisingly nice place featuing Texas iines. This is a real sit down place and will likely ahve a menu on the innderweb. Good breakfast there also.
Neals in Concan is a tradition for many and perched right above the Frio. A family style, southern place, it has good breakfast and better than decent lunches. Service there is about the best you will find in the area.
Mama Cholies in Leakey is nothing fancy, but does have good Tex-Mex.
Nothing wrong with the Mill Creek Cafe. Somwehwta "pedestrian" but, Wifeypoo loves their breakfasts.
Chicken Earl's for southern fried chicken is another local tradition. I think it may only be open on Tuesdays.
In fairly nearby Utopia is the Lost Maples Cafe which is known for the burgers, chicken fried steak and pies, especially the pies. Very busy with the church crowd on Sundays.
If you get by D'hanis, the best parisa anywhere, I do mean anywhere, is at the Country Food Mart in downtown.

I concur with all that has been said above, Leaky has also blown up with newer eateries over the past couple of years. We haven't been to them yet as when we go out in that area, it's at those three places mentioned above. Also there is the Garner Grill inside the park that does burgers, but I don't think they open up until the summer rush.

We ALWAYS make it a point to stop in at the Bent Rim Grill in Leakey. Really good burgers and cold beers.

Grown men who used to get routinely beat up in HS wanting to be different and all dressing alike in black on their motorcycles as they attempt to navigate wicked sisters.
