In my experience with California transplants. Vast majority are conservative. However, their families see them doing well and then come and then the bad Californians outnumber the good ones. 5-1

I have relatives who moved from California to Carrollton. By California standards they are indeed conservatives. By my standards, not so much.

Just buy the car you want in another state. I don't think they can keep you out based on the Commerce Clause. Case in point: https://www.casebriefs.com/blog/law/constitutional-law/constitutional-law-keyed-to-chemerinsky/limits-on-state-regulatory-and-tax-power/bibb-director-department-of-public-safety-of-illinois-v-navajo-freight-lines-inc/#:~:text=States%20have%20the%20power%20to%20regulate%20their%20highways%2C,flaps.%20The%20clearly%20violates%20the%20dormant%20Commerce%20Clause.

I see poeple crying who bought Tesla. They are upside down on their vehicles that are only a few years old. They paid $65K for them and now a few year old car are only worth $25K.

They went upside down when Musk lowered prices to prop up sales.

I don't see electric cars taking over the industry anytime soon

Maybe Hybrids, but not EV only.

There’s also not a used EV market.

All the used EVs will be with all the wind generator blades and solar panels that have worn out, in a deep ditch somewhere.
