The youngest kid of the youngest daughter. Smart, for sure, but I worried about her politics. I thought she leaned left. She’s in Film School at Pace in NYC and making all A’s…till now. Her Mom tells me that she may get a C in a writing class and that the kid says her teacher is a “Commie Bi___). I feel much better now.

She’s the star of that daughter’s kids. I asked about their older kid, a son, a Texas Tech student, to see what he’s doing. He’s a bit less driven. She said that he went to Spring Break on Padre Island and didn’t get arrested or get another tattoo while drunk. A whole different level of success.
Full disclosure…the Padre Island trip might well have been me a few decades back.

Golden Child got transfered to NYC after one year of employment in Hosetown. I was sure thinking I would lose her to some greasy headed guinea from New Jersey name Tony, but she met an Aggie from Amarillo who moved her back down to Texas. They never got married, but I sure do appreciate that man.
