yep, 4 water to 1 sugar ... do NOT use the red food dye. Some of the HB purists say to boil your water and refrigerate for up to a week, toss after a week ( ?). I normally change out the nectar in the feeders about once a week when we get to hotter weather (mold grows and it gets cloudy), the HB usually have it pretty well drained by then anyway during the middle of the summer when our largest population is around..

We have Yuccas around the pool that have the pink "flowers" on them, and when they bloom we will have hummingbirds come to them, they havent started blooming yet.

1 cup sugar to 4 cups water. I do it in a big juice jug and keep in fridge. Perfect. Thank you!
