As per Texas A&M Forrest Service. All fires are 100% contained as of today!!! I am just in awe of all the responders, and folks that delivered supplies to the folks up there. Salute texas

That is about the best map showing the area affected, but it should be noted that not everything inside the red burned. There were lots of areas inside that the fire skipped around. When these fires started, they were pushed by a 60MPH sustained wind out of the west-southwest for about a day. The following day, a strong cold front out of the north turned everything 90 degrees. Thats why the south ends are so jagged. There are lots of unburned areas with houses and barns standing and grass left for the cattle thanks to local fire departments and firefighters from the Texas A&M Forest Service
