I plan on waiting until I can subscribe and watch all of them at one time. Hopefully I can subscribe for a month, watch them all and then cancel. confused2

I am watching with my son, we both are enjoying it. I think i like it better than he does, but i read the book and he didnt, plus i just know more of the history around this topic than he does.

Still, gives a glimpse into what those poor guys went thru…for over a year the percent that made it thru their 25 missions was 14%….that is staggering when you think of the 86% that didnt.

More men died flying over Germany than the marines lost in the whole pacific theater. That’s also mind numbing, and nothing against the marines!

I’m watching with my son too. Only problem is he has a masters degree in history and is a history teacher. It takes twice as long to watch with him because he has a backstory for every mission and likes to tell me about them.

After Band of Brothers, kind of disappointed

Have all the episodes been released? I'm waiting for all of them so I can do the free month and then watch all of them.

Yes they are all released.

Be sure to watch the accompanying documentary "The Bloody Hundredth".

Finishe episode 4 last night, pretty good with good cinematography. Spielberg/Hanks flick, so well done so far.

It would be difficult to compare to Band Of Brothers, a completely different aspect of the war.

Going to watch them all through again.

Be sure to watch the companion documentary, The Bloody Hundredth.

Like it, but not as much as Band of Brothers. The documentary, The Bloody Hundredth was almost as good.

My wife won’t watch any more of it. She has no problem watching Vikings chopping each other up, but Masters of the Air somehow is different.

Hard to know. I know some people that things just get to close to real for them its too much. Vikings is still fictional, despite some history of vikings we dont really have great history of them and their day to day life. Quite different with MoA where we have great contemporaneous history of not only the day to day life but of each mission, so the story becomes a lot more real and not as watchable for some.
