Not sure if anyone else is watching but I just realized that Ruger has added more new models. If my count is correct they have seven offerings now. The one that caught my eye was the 336 SBL. SS and laminate gray with the XS rail. And threaded of course. I also liked the look of the BL guide gun in 45/70. Similar to the Remlin GBL I believe. Only better. Prices are silly but one could hope for them to drop over time. Check out their website! https://www.marlinfirearms.com/s/model_70905/

They need to make a special run of .35 Remington!

I like them all. I’d probably go with the Dark Series and toss on a 1-8 LPVO

I'm hoping for a run of new Marlins in the cartridge of their name, 444 Marlin.
Uprisings started or quelled, tornadoes rerouted, elections rigged.

There's only one thing I like about it. At least they put the .30-30 WIN out first. Things that do not belong on a lever action: - Butt pad
- Laminate stock
- Big loop
- Checkering
- Cross-bolt safety
- Stainless steel
- Threaded barrel
- Pic rail
- Fiber sight
- Jeweled bolt
- $1500 MSRP
The "Classic Series" of 336 is a little better attempt at recreating a "good Marlin" (1950-2000) with exception of the price tag. My waffle top just went up in value again. To please purists they need a .35 REM, a .32 Special, and maybe the .410 bore.
Pass the gravy.

I put a red fiber front sight on my 45/70 because a black sight against a black hog isn’t good for shot placement. 375 Winchester! Hell yeah!

Talked to the Ruger folks at DSC and they’re planning to roll out more in the next 12 months..
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.
