I’m going to try and get our YouTube channel going this year. There is always something interesting going on here at the little hobby farm and garden. If you like stuff like that, subscribe. It’ll probably be a few weeks before I start posting regular videos. Any tips or suggestions to make it better are welcome. Thanks!

The following video is just a compilation of some videos we had. I’ll talk about our animals and projects we have going on when I actually start posting videos regularly.

For sure, it’ll be a week or two before I start posting videos. That’s just a compilation of some videos my wife made for her instagram page.

I would also post on Facebook Reels, Now of days I watch that 10 times more than Youtube.

I’m in.

Make sure you get monetized, in case you have one blow up. I know a guy who got 1 million views and his check was 8k.

I lose interest after 15 minutes.

I will be honest. Ever since I added YouTube to my TV, I watch it much more.

I think it might be good to branch out. Keep the farm as the primary focus, but add in some home projects, repairs, guns, hunting, cooking.

There's a YouTube couple, Kara & Nate, who travel around the world on really cool adventures for sightseeing and history. They started some years ago as basic travel backpackers and are now multi-millionaires from getting monetized and sponsors.

To be determined

Video length is key and so is output frequency. Three 20-minute videos per week is about the sweet spot for most genres.

Pass the gravy.

Please don't create titles that are click bait. Title and subject honesty to many are great thing. Good luck on channel

FB and YouTube have become much better places to learn and participate with greater rules enforcement than the "prick cliques" found elsewhere. Most FB group pages and YouTube channels are closely monitored and follow a strict policy of zero tolerance when it comes to breaking the rules.

Subbed for you.

I have a channel that I used to post up Helicopter Pig Shooting on and it was to the point that I was getting about $100 a month for about 4 months straight. Then I guess they got flagged for being inappropriate. I let it set dormant for about a year then started posting up videos again. The monetization bench marks changed so I have to really get back at it to get to those marks.

Good luck!

Will sub when I log back on.

Being mostly a content viewer, my best advice would be to manage the sound well. I see many channels with cra99y sound, low volume. Then some try to be fancy with background music that just drowns out the commentary, I skip all those within 20 seconds usually.
