This is a S&S precision built 22 long rifle. It is built on a voodoo action with a right bolt left port with a muller 13 twist 25 and 1/2-in barrel. Those are two 18 shot groups at 300 yards with 4 in of vertical. Put me in coach I'm ready to play.

Sweet! I have never owned a top end 22, I have been eyeballing the Zermatt Rim X for a while and thinking of building one.

The rimx has a couple of minor flaws that I am not fond of, that's why I went with a vudoo. But in all honesty, the voodoo only shoots maybe a hair better than my CZ 457.

Very nice! That's tight shooting, especially for a rimfire!

Wow that looks like a fun rig! Can't believe that group at 300. That's a squirrel's worst nightmare.

Senior was your CZ a factory barrel and if so what did it prefer? I’m hearing SK and Lapua but I’m going to try them all.

A lot of CZ factory barrels like SK standard Plus and SK rifle match. Those are two places I would start

We runs three different types of 22 rimfire matches and in all three of them we have a production class which means the rifle and scope MSRP must be under 1500

I mean even with the bolt locking back the bullet is LONG gone by the time that happens. I would not want to shoot an AR that was extracting a round while the bullet was still in the barrel. The recoil impulse when it matters, when the bullet is leaving the gun, is exactly the same. Thinking about it practically there is virtually nothing that is different between the next to last or last round in the AR's magazine. It's true that the pressure up on the bolt carrier group will be different, but I'd also not want to shoot a gun with headspace so crappy that the bolt could wobble around when in battery. I think people just don't shoot statistically significant groups, and like to apply a little fuddlore to explain how their AR doesn't actually shoot 1.5 or 2 MOA.

Senior, do you have a class for iron-sighted single-shot .22s, like my BSA 12/15?

Sorry no we do not. If you can round up 12 to 15 shooters that want to do it then we can hold one.
