Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Lord, today please give me the grace to embody love for others in spite of what they say or do, and to express the sacrificial love of Jesus by treating others in the way Jesus treated me. Let your light shine out and go with me on my way today. Let me have clear eyes and and a pure heart through your Word and your Spirit. Though I may have temptations and struggles today, let me know you are with me lighting my way to what is right and good. Please protect and bless me, and give me a grateful heart to praise you, and to glorify you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
