Gotta' ask: How long does a kid these days have to ride in a car seat? I think until they can drive? Seriously, I think by height and weight he’s ready for a booster seat, but if you listen to crash experts, they make a good case for leaving them in a full car seat until 6 or 7yo due to muscle development. That’s why he doesn’t wear a helmet in my SxS while strapped into his car seat.

We are in boosters. Just saying. They are still in acey seats in the toy but are getting too big for those too...
