Ese, I've read reviews and most say better than first. 98% Rotten Tomato rating. Say what you may but the Latino movie directors are on a roll with lots of good movies, a few Oscar winners in the bunch the last few years: Gravity by Cuaron, The Revenant by Inaturri, Guillermo Del Toro's monster in the water movie from a few years ago and now Denis Villanueve's Dune series. Don't forget Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk to Dawn series and El Mariachi series. Some good film making out of Mexico....Plan on seeing Dune 2.

Never heard of Dune the movie until couple weeks ago I enjoyed it and the surround sound was great.

Looking forward to it. The original movie was laughable but the remake so far has been excellent.

A little to slow but really picked up towards the end. Part three should be fireworks.

Gents just got back from watching in IMAX. It is legit, great movie, better than last one which was good.

Different strokes for different folks. Luckily, I like a variety of different movies.

2 thumbs up from my sci-fi hating wife. She couldn’t stand when i watched the original 1984 version, so she was clueless about the story line.

Really good movie. Setting up for some excellent action in the next installment. Hopefully there isnt a strike to delay the release as there was with this second one.

My daughter and I watched it on opening night and we loved it. We had re-watched Part 1 a couple of weeks ago to refresh our memory on what had occurred so far.

Not usually into those types of movies! Watched about 4-5 minutes of the first one about 6 months ago on Netflix I think, couple of months later was bored and watched the rest of it and enjoyed it.

Might actually go to the theater to watch this one?

I did the same thing before watching it on Friday. I never saw the Original Dune back in 1984 though. I watched a little bit of it on YouTube yesterday and lost interest pretty quick. Looked pretty cheesy.

I liked the original for it's time and Mrs Francesca, isn't bad to look at either.

Watched Dune 1, hat movies that are broken into "parts", will wait to see 2 when it shows on the Firestick
