Enjoy your no pay workday today. I was thinking about this on the way in this morning. Salary is an annual income so you are paid for 365.25 days/yr….

I work 4 on 4 off so I work a slightly different number of days every year.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Enjoy your no pay workday today. I'm salary, which means I don't think about it in terms like that. I take an international trip and am gone from Sunday afternoon until late Friday, NBD. I take a 2 hour lunch a couple of days per week, NBD. I leave at 10:00 AM on a Friday to drive to the lease, NBD. My phone rings at 0200 and I handle something on the other side of the world, NBD. It all works out, and beats punching a clock, IMO.

I'm getting paid for not working a whole heck of a lot more than i'm not getting paid for working. But I guess the no work no pay guys gotta hang their hat on something.

When working I had a saying "It all works out". Some days there weren't enough hours in the day to get the job done, then others I was crappie fishing from 10 to 5. I was salaried and my job was supporting the customer to what it took to get the job done not put in 8 hours. Note to self, if on the lake fishing and you have a conference call place your phone in a zip lock bag. Others on the call can't here the wind.
