I have bur clover taking over my yard. I thought I put a dent in it last year, but I was wrong. It is coming in all over. I looked online and it said to spray it with broad leaf weed killer. I bought the most expensive stuff I could find. It said "see results in hours". Well it has been 2 days and nothing. What else should I try or do I just need to wait a little longer?

I'd give it a week or so before trying another weed killer. Did you use a 2-4D herbicide?

What product did you use? Even if you used the best product on it I'd give it some time. Clover of pretty much any type you're not going to see quick results on a kill. It dies slowly.

Heavy 2,4D in spring as its re-emerging usually knocks it out.

Pull it before it drops the new burrs and stay on top of it for the rest of spring you’ll have a lot less next year

Be sure and apply pre-emergent in Spring (right now) and in Fall.
The spring application kills fall weeds and the fall app cleans up the spring.

If any of your neighbors or surrounding area has weeds, you need pre-emergent.
I use granular, it's available most places.

Spray what you have now. Use Atrazine, Image, MSMA, etc.

Can you link or post a pic of what you used? There are few products under the Ortho platform with the same/similar name but different uses. Lots of retail products are like this. Similar but different. You posted "I bought the most expensive stuff I could find" Most expensive isn't always the best. You might have used the correct product and just give it time, but I'd make sure. And your grass type?

Was hoping you were going to link that one. That's a decent product ingredient wise. It's actually a 4 in 1 and not a 3 in 1 with the Carfentrazone added. Which is nice. The precent of AI(Active Ingredient) in that is super low as they have to dumb it down for retail at box stores. I'd give it another 7 days or so. I need to check the label of the RTS vs Wand end for that one. There is at least one or two hose end not sold at box stores that would work well for you. But again I'd give it another week.

That said. Right now if I was going to go with a hose end product for winter cleanup of broads tomorrow it would be this. Specticide has a couple decent "cheap" options. I wouldn't wand it and blanket spray it.

I use Weed Stop by Spectracide , 3 oz per gallon , container says 6 . 3 works . You need the heat to make it work . i have already sprayed 10gallons .
More rain in the winter and you get more clover seems like . To me it's coming out a lot earlier this year .
Buy it at Walmart $8.20
