Having a deer camp debate. What year did early youth season begin in Texas. My google-fu is coming up blank.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

The Texas Wildlife Association and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department have joined forces to offer the Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP).
TYHP was established in 1996 to provide opportunities for youth to participate in hunting activities safely, legally, and ethically, while learning about the valuable role landowners and hunters play in wildlife conservation.
This is what came up for me.

^^^^Good try, but that has nothing to do with the early season youth opportunity. Im not sure when it started.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

I misread it earliest year I could find was 2008 anyone find a earlier date.
