Seems back to normal this morning

It was not a cyber attack. It was a coding error related a system enhancement. "AT&T said the hourslong outage to its U.S. cellphone network Thursday appeared to be the result of a technical error, not a malicious attack."

Dang I made up a bunch of these I thought I could make some quick cash

Not the first time AT&T has seen a major network failure due to poor Change Management. Other carriers won't say a word because they know it's just as likely to happen the them. In the IT world, you can stress test all you want and still see a failure once you go live.

We received the same message….

And if it was a cyber attack exposing weakness in their systems they would confirm or deny that fact 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

An attack doesn't make sense based on the symptoms.

I didn't get the apology text nor did the few people I checked with. I guess we're not valued customers.

My wife got it but I didn’t and I’m the account holder lol.

Wife had no signal mine was fine
