I have 25 acres of coastal field and it has a 30 foot easement that runs through part of it with 4 polls. Last month Oncor called and said they would be coming onto my property with their equipment later that week. I told them I had just had over 4 inches of rain and the ground would be soaked. Well they came anyway and it was so muddy they had to rent large track vehicles. Not only did they destroy part of my field they went way outside of their easement. They also drove them on my asphalt driveway and tore the hell out of it. They are claiming they will come back in and "repair" my field and driveway but I am doubtful. The last picture is one part of my driveway being destroyed. I may end up having to hire an attorney. Total BS.

Why wouldn't they come back and fix it? I am you are not the first and not the last for this to happen to.

At least they said they would repair it, I would be ok with that.

Oncor hires out to a lot of contractors too, but it is still Oncor's responsibility. I would be a little forgiving if they reasonably drove outside of easement and there was nothing hurt, but that is not reasonable. Easements are also a tricky thing, it is amazing what they put in the wording. Some easements allow power companies to drive across your property to access an easement, you never know. But then they still need to fix their mess.

Don't be surprised if you find arbitration in the agreement with an arbitrator selected by Oncor.

To be determined

I have an Oncor rep that I deal with since they have a huge highline through my place, and now a substation as well. One of their guys ran over two of my sheep. I emailed the rep, he asked for $ amount, I received a check in a few days. Other than their laughable first offer on the condemnation, they've been ok to deal with. Find out who the rep is that you need to talk to. As you've done, take pics, and if they don't come back, get estimates.

No advice for you, but I'd be pissed too.

In my experience with easements for utilities, they will first offer you a cash settlement to have the repairs done yourself. It will be way to low, and they will make another offer when you say that you would rather they come make the repairs to your satisfaction.

Yep, that’s unacceptable. I’ll bet you have to get an attorney involved. If they cared to begin with, it probably wouldn’t have happened.

They may just drag it out till mother nature washes it all down and regrows everything.
My guys went down a landowner’s road and slid all over the place. They couldn't make it so they rutted up his field trying to turn around. I told them to send me a picture.
Then I called the landowner and told him not to let the guys go until he was happy with the repairs. That goes a long way with people. He was easier on them than I wanted, but he was happy that someone gave a damn.
