I have over 107,000 on my front pads but the back pads were worn out at 80,000. Nissan Pathfinder.

My ex would be lucky if she got 35K out of them but she wasn’t a good driver. She would slam on the brakes when she got to a light rather than letting the car decelerate to it. I would get over 100K because I don’t drive like that. Driving habits have more to do with pad longevity than anything else.

I dont really keep track but I dont think I get near what yall are getting. I thought I was real easy on vehicles too. Yalls numbers are also way more than my mechanic says is the norm.

My current f150 has 133000 miles on the original pads. I checked them not long ago, and they need to be done soon.

Mine made it to 100k on an F-350 6.7, that's with hauling an RV/boat/trailer & UTV, trailer w/tractor & shredder/pallets of feed etc all over S Texas. Had new pads & rotors put on, and have had a squeak in the breaks ever since. It's annoying.

+1, mine was the same. I use to say that she had no idea there was a 3rd pedal. She was either on the gas or the brake. I get over 100k even towing a 5000 lb boat. She was lucky to get 30.

I got 194,000 miles out of my last set and they still had some life left in them.

Just had the front brake pads put on the Tundra for the second time in 195,000 miles. Rear pads had a shorter life, but I don’t remember the mileage.

It’s about time to replace the pads on my Ram 2500 @ 80K.
What pads do y’all recommend, OEM, metallic or ceramic?

It's interesting that some folks are experiencing shorter lifespan on rear pads. I've always had fronts wear out first on every vehicle. Always made sense especially in my ram 2500 with that heavier 5.9 sitting up front.

About 100k on the front of the F250, about 200k on the back...

The more I think about it, I may have had the rear brakes done only once so far in the 195k miles.

Seemed like I was having the brake pads and rotors replaced in the BMW every 35,000 miles or so. Stop and go commuting will cause that.

gonna replace the pads and rotors. autozone gives you 15% off buying them as a kit. My only complaint against ford is they use crappy rotors.

On the 2003 4Runner it had 176,000 miles at 20 years and they still had over half of the pads left. Changed the rear ones out while I was checking on the parking brake pads. They still had plenty of pad left, but since I had new ones in hand and it was apart they got changed.
I did pull the slide pins every 4 years and lubricate them, so that probably helped.
