Yes. Inside or out. Works WAY better and it's easier to clean, and you can pass it down....

The Fry Daddy I recently bought has no temperature control. It's going to Goodwill here shortly along with my ridiculous Farberware air fryer.
The Presto 06006 looks like my next fryer, although I should probably try my old Lodge Dutch oven on the Weber first. I doubt I have deep-fried on more than a dozen occasions and I am 70. I finally learned how important it is to have the proper temp and what a difference!

Used one on Sunday to fry wings and homemade mozzarella sticks. Worked like a champ!

Will be using it on some fish this weekend.

My propane cooker get the nod for deep frying. I cook fish weekly. Holds 3 gallons of oiland has a drain. The single basket cooker takes 2 cookings to fry up a quart bag of fillets. Works good for wings also. Also makes the best fries with real potatoes. Frozen fries are forbidden here. Shut the lid when done cooking. Bass pro and Cabellas sell these types of cookers. I will never go back to a pot to cook fish at home. These cookers also cume in 2 basket versions and more.

I've got the same one (Bayou Classic single basket), it works great! Might throw some fish in in tomorrow actually.
