I bought three AR500 plates from the gentleman on the forum that made them. If memory serve me correctly, he was based out of the Aubrey area. Unfortunately, since someone deleted everyone's private messages to our accounts without any warning, I no longer have that information. I haven't seen him post in the classifieds lately.

I think he was cutting them out of drops or something bc they were cheapppp. It’s hard to justify buying and cutting AR plate anymore with steel prices and Amazon.

I found it. His forum name is: jbd76266 and as angus1956 said, he actually is in Sanger, not Aubrey as I thought. Not sure if he is still on here or not but you could pm him and see. Some others in the forum have also used these guys. https://custommfgco.com/

He doesn't live in Sanger any more so I don't think he has the same hook up. Look for materials on eBay.
Pass the gravy.

Notice the hole in the T post. This was my friends shot at 400 yards as we were adjusting elevation. Damn good shooting that day. I've shot these at 100 yards with a 7mm Rem. Mag. All it did was knock the paint off. These are a great product.

I've used Travis at Custom a couple of different times, his stuff is good.

There's also a member and he's out of Sanger but I don't know his name. I still poke around...I haven't sold any in a while as steel prices went through the roof. At one time a sheet of AR500 was triple the price I was paying and most recently double. I still get folks reaching out. OLD LISTING LINK

https://www.ashandemberoutdoors.com/search?q=target&search-button=&lang=nullThat site used to be owned by Titan Outdoors now they sold to Ash and Ember and the prices went up. Not to highjack the thread but to the people who shoot at steel, how do y'all hang them safely so there is no bounce back. I've had .22lr rounds come back down range at me when shooting steel.

How close are you? If you're shooting at .22, make sure you are shooting at a .22 target. If you're shooting at really heavy steel, it won't move with it, but stay stationary and send your round right back at you. I once had a .22 short bounce back at me off of a tree. Prolly would have hurt.

If I'm shooting 22 at steel that thick, I make sure the steel is at least a little at an angle so if it does bounce its not coming back at me.
