looking for a good AR trigger that is at a decent price, not anything that is a drop in though -something mil-spec in design (but lighter pull than the 9lb mil spec I have right now.) PSA has a decent looking one for $75 that is supposedly 4.5lb so I would want something cheaper than that or I will just order that one to try. Let me know if you have one that you took off or aren't using that you would like to sell. Thanks.

I've got a PSA that I took out. Where are you located?

If you are near Groesbeck, I’ll give you one. Came out of a Black Rain Ordnance AR..

You can also try JP Reliability Enhanced Spring Kit (red and yellow springs) about $11 plus shipping with whatever trigger you go with. If I don't use a LaRue MBT trigger i use the JP springs. They do clean up and lighten the pull

The larue for 90$ is absolutely worth buying, and is a much better trigger than anyting from PSA I can promise you....

Thanks! If you have a larue to sell that be great - I can’t find them for less than $115. Must have been an increase since you guys bought them.

Yes, they went up $25. They run a sale once and a while but you have to be quick because they always run out.
You can set your own up fairly easily with a couple Wolff springs, some know-how, and a threaded plug in the grip bolt hold to reduce take up. That's how mine are and they break sharply at around 4#.
Pass the gravy.

I bought my larues when they were $79 I think. I JUST read something online about a sale on CMC triggers for 99.99 but I cannot find the site to save my life. Sorry buddy. Try to google it, becuase I just recently saw it.

I just went through this. CMC get a bad rap for being dfifficult to clean when you get gunk in them and they start to have issues. The Larue are viewed favorably if you're going to outfit a bunch of ARs and the $80 savings over a Giessele is meaningful. If you have one or two ARs, the Geissele is almost universally agreed on as the best trigger. Being a trigger snob, I waited til it went on sale and went for it. If I sell the AR, I will take it out and put it in my next one rather than donate the $115 for a Larue. The Geissele is on sale for $189 right now at primary arms and maybe other places as well.

A little modification of stock springs and polishing sear surfaces with valve grinding compound does wonders and saves money for AMMO! If you are scared to bend stock springs, a good set of JP springs and valve grinding compound.
