 We were witness to a miracle this week

Monday night at 7:30 my wife had a major stroke. The clot was in the main artery going to the right side of her brain and was allowing no blood flow past it. The chemicals did nothing to break it up so at 9:50 they did emergency brain surgery to remove the clot. She came thru the procedure fine and Tuesday morning they started the CT and MRI scans to see extent of damage and FOUND NONE!! The doctors were in disbelief! She came home yesterday and is doing well Praise Jesus

2018 my wife had a stroke out of nowhere - she was in great health . Turns out she had hit her head hard on a board walking through an old barn. She was in the iCU and hospital for several weeks. She had a 100% total recovery and has no symptoms or issues - God is good. So glad yours sounds like she is on the mend

Praise God for her healing!
My 90 yo FIL fell face first yesterday morning about 1am and was taken to ER. By the time we were getting to the hospital at 2am CareFlight was landing and loading him to take him to Denton. The ER doc said he had a cracked skull/forehead, multiple fractures in his nose, face and a brain bleed that the doc said was catastrophic, said he would be lucky to make it through the flight. The trauma team at Medical City took him in and started treating and testing. By mid-day today the assessment was positive and there would be no surgery and no sign of brain bleeding. He was walking and talking by this afternoon. He has a long road ahead of him on the broken bones and jaw but outcome sure took a turn! We are thankful!

So happy that she’s Ok. Some people, but not everyone, have good cross flow of blood to the brain, so an obstruction on one side could be less critical for those people. That was explained to me by my neurosurgeon prior to a brain surgery - on me.
