Sister in law went out of town for a few days. She left he schnauzer with us. I’ve never been around one before.
It’s a pretty good dog, a little older.
Not sure for what purpose Schnauzers were bred, but a big one would be pretty good.

Miniature Schnauzers are bred for ratting like many other breeds. We have a couple of them and they are hell on rats around the chickencoop. They do not really shed and are good noise makers if the see or hear something outside lets say I do not need a doorbell with them in the house.

On what kind of bun? Also with mustard & onions or Sauerkraut ? Have watched some cool videos mainly out of Europe, they are hell on mice & rats!

Good dogs but very opinionated… they are not quiet lol.

My parents let me bring home a 1/2 Schnauzer puppy from a friend's house. Our dogs stayed outside back then. The barking. It ran off (according to Dad.) Nobody cried.

I have a smaller version. One of the best overall dogs we've had. No shedding and doesn't bark without reason.

This one barks. But only when he needs something.
I did tell my wife yesterday, he only has 1 bark. It’s pretty loud. Don’t have a quiet voice bark or snarl.
My dog snorts when it’s time to go out.
