Ok hears the scoop. This rifle was in my dads collection it has been re-barreled in 219 zipper. I posted here a couple times and after looking at the rifle it has a screw in the receiver that is messed up. I was told it was for the clocking of the magazine but im not sure. The gun serial number dates it to 1915-1916 wood is in good shape. I will let this go for $250.00 I have put 4 rounds in it it will cycle 2 and on the 3rd round will not. Im not a Savage 99 expert but I'm sure somewhere out in this large world someone can do something with it. FTF Ft Worth area PM me let me know. I do have a Box of reloads for it. Can text pictures.
