Getting to do a big road trip this coming fall where I hope to chase deer in 2-3 states and antelope in another. IF I'm so lucky as to harvest more than one animal what would yalls recommendation be for keeping hides/skulls for taxidermy after the trip? I will have a small freezer in an RV but not sure about freezing hides. Any recommendations? Would like to be able to have the taxidermy done in Texas rather than possibly paying shipping from (hopefully) multiple different taxidermist/locations

What does your TX taxi say do? One thing for sure is you ain't freezing skulls and hides in a small RV freezer. You'd be better off taking a chest freezer in bed of truck or in trailer towed behind RV and freeze as you go

Look for places to chill whatever you kill and make sure it is on your way home so you don't have to go out of the way to pick it up. Usually wild game processors will allow entire animals to hang in their coolers for a minimal fee. Hang them while you are still hunting and pick them up on your way home. If hunting with a guiding service, ask them, they usually can steer you in a good direction.
