I hope you boys in South Tx are also getting it. Hopefully it isn't too late. It has been raining here the last 2 days

Hell yesterdays rain raised the aquifer over a foot. We had a huge downpour today as well. I'm just glad it looks like our lease in San Saba is getting some today as well.
SA has been in it's worst 2 year drought. We also had around 60 100F+ days this summer.

Been raining here in Abilene for the past 2 days, and about 15 degrees cooler during the day too. I saw on the news where San Antonio was getting hammered...

To bad it didnt start when horn development mattered. Not sure where your at but we couldn't have had it better, it's been green all year. Big buck's for sure this year!

I agree Hwy_man, the rain hit perfect for us West Texas boys. A little dry last month but these past few days have been great!

It has been strange driving east out of Midland and seeing the green turn to brown the further you go. And I do beleave that the rain was a little late, it usually only rains the nite before dove season opens.

Anywhere from 8-12 inches in Salado yesterday, and still raining like a cow on a flat rock this morning.
Not sure how much I've had at the house, my 6 inch rain gauge was overflowing when I got home from work this morning.
First good rain since May here.

This has been a great year for rain. Went to Norton this morning and couldn't get to the game cam. Been raining all day. Good to hear rain in Crockett co. I havn't been out since I got back, but we have been green all year. Definatly going to be a fine herd this year.

Only 2 inch in Comfort and Kerrville got 10 inch they are only 15 miles apart crazy rain.
