Here is an excellent condition steyr prohunter in 7mm-08. I bought this around 2001 new, and put 22 rounds through it sighting it in when I first got it. It was a very early model made and imported before steyr had a us factory so the markings are a bit different than later models. Anyway, then lost my hunting lease and never took it out to shoot. Its been in the safe for 20yrs getting a dust off and an oiled patch down the barrel every few years just to keep it in good shape and it is as it basically looks new. Has a set of 1” dovetail rings mounted on it. I don’t see many of these for sale to know exactly where to price it, but all the ones on gunbroker are over 1k. I’m thinking $700. I”ll also give you the 18 rounds of ammo I have left as I don’t need any 7-08 ammo. I’m in Lubbock but willing to meet halfway, or I usually travel to metroplex every few months we can arrange it for when I am available to drive through the area.

Would consider trades for heavy barrel bolt guns 308, 6.5, or 223’s + or - cash. Or a heavy barrel blank in one of those calibers plus cash. Or a glock 19 gen 5 plus cash, a g19x plus cash, or a winchester 9422, or maybe a win 94 collectors edition (several different models that made in the 70’s) + or - cash depending on the gun.

It’s a 23.6” barrel.
