wow. I have a S&W that I bought new in the early 60s. Didn’t know anyone made firearms for it any more.
haven’t reloaded for it in many moons. But I do recall that it’s critical to keep the cases very clean. Otherwise they back out of the chamber upon firing and the gun jams.

I have a 222 but no idea about something called a jet

It was developed as a pistol cartridge for varmints. It's basically a 357Mag case necked down to 22cal with a long sloping shoulder. Fun to shoot in a Smith revolver. Recoil is nil but it is LOUD!! Did not know that TC was offering the cartridge.

Saw one once in a contender. I could never figure out what the question was that it was trying to answer. That person used 4198 with a 50 gr soft point. I think he sold it and switched to a 22K Hornet.

Did not know that TC was offering the cartridge. They did at one time as well as many others, never had a jet but did have a 256 Winchester mag that was another 357 mag necked down but to 25 cal but straighter case and the first gun for it was the Ruger Hawkeye. single shot pistol on a Blackhawk frame. It flopped pretty quick. Hate that TC is no more but you can still get new barrels in many different cartridges from at least a couple sources.
