In the US or anywhere. The wife is off to NYC and LaGuardia airport soon. I don’t hate LaGuardia. I do hate O’Hare in Chicago. I’ve been through a lot of them, large and small, but only dread O’Hare. Some of you guys fly all over the world, so which one or ones are the worst - US and/or World. When I worked, the consensus of my Director co-workers was that Mumbai was the absolute worst. Luckily, I never had to go through there.

I havent been there but a lot of complaints about london heathrow. Hope to go there this summer for a planned norway cruise. Still not 100% we are going tho.

My least fave in rhe US (that i have experienced) is st louis. Last time i flew put of georgetown bahamas it was a hot mess. I never had any issues with ohare. But i have only been thru there a couple of times. I do try to avoid any kind of connector, and living in dfw allows a lot of flexibility on that.

Worst one for me- LAX. Absolute arse-kicking going through there. Customs, immigration, all of it sux. Delhi worst international. Best ones Singapore, Dubai, Qatar.

London Gatwick but only because I apparently looked like an Irish terrorist. Full interrogation TWICE at the ticket counter going through everything in my briefcase and wallet with security personnel standing nearby, told many times my bag would be inspected by drug/bomb sniffing dogs and then opening a bag counter just for me to check in my bag. I was sweating by this time and felt everyone's ire behind me due to the delays. From that point to the gate I was stopped 4 times by security, one of whom had a MP5 and just stared at me, asking a lot of questions and checking passport, receipts from hotels, and every form of ID I had in my wallet. Crowds formed around me each time and people were pointing at me as I walked through the mall. I finally get to the gate and went to sit down next to my VP of Ops and he asked me not to sit next to him!!! I drank a LOT of Scotch on the flight home.

Oh crap….and I thought we had it bad in Calgary!!!

FWIW, they profile heavily in Brussels which isn’t entirely bad with all the Muslims going through there.

Never flew international, fortunately, when I was working other then Monterrey. One stands out for me is O'Hare. Not just the airport itself but the weather. I was on a 6:30 flight out of DFW connecting to South Bend. They ran out of booze which did not matter to me. Snowstorm hit Chicago, circled for a hour+ and diverted to Detroit. Landed in Chicago about 2. No flights and no busses to South Bend. Went to the rental car counter and got behind a guy that was 1/2 drunk. He was also going to South Bend and lady said why don't you ride with him and drive. Got to hotel in Indiana just before midnight. Other thing I hated about O'Hare was the shoe shine boys, dudes peddling fake jewelry, and Hare Christinas trying to pin flowers on you. Coworker decked one after 3 tries to pin a flower on him 3 times.

I have always suspected that the Eagles were thinking of O’Hare airport when they wrote Hotel California (you can never leave).

Philly is the dirtiest/grossest/most depressing. LAX is my least favorite. Any airport that makes you go through TSA and then take a train to the terminals is also on the list.

I fly weekly and avoid LAX, San Fran & Phoenix. Cannot stand those 3 personally.
