Beretta A400 is a great one. She could probably handle a 12 gauge. That's what my wife shoots and loves it with 1oz loads

Excellent recommendation.

Get it fitted to her as well.

To be determined

what's the budget?

In a semi auto platform I like the Browning Silver Hunter or the Benelli Montefeltro Silver.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

My wife shoots a Benelli M2, 12 gauge, loves it. And she has had shoulder replacement and rotator cuff surgery, and can be recoil sensitive, but not with this thing!

My wife likes to shoot my Browning BSS in 20 ga. Fits her well and she likes how it handles. But the BSS was only made for a few years and they are kind of hard to get ahold of now.

This, or a M2

Berretta A400 always a solid choice (coming from a Benelli fanboy).

But, I'd take a hard look at the Syren L4S Sporting. Made by Fabarms-Caesar Guerini, and is design for female shooters.
