Great rounds for an AR15 platform. It does everything the 224Valkerie doesn’t do,,, or so I’m told.

Another ground breaking marketing scheme by Hornady! It’s basically a 22 ppc or a 220 russian with a 1:8 barrel so you can shoot heavy 22 boolets.
Lots of research and development there, eye roll…
Just get yourself a fast twist 223 and forget about the short hard to find brass cases.

Just get yourself a fast twist 223 and forget about the short hard to find brass cases. I agree 99%. The 22PPC is weaker than 22ARC, but it ain't weaker than the 22Grendel that's been around over a decade, it's virtual identical to it. They did the same with 6ARC/6Grendel. Hornady has perfected taking an existing cartridge, getting SAAMI approval on it, and releasing it as their own. Good for them. They are an American family owned company selling us good stuff and giving Vista and Olin competition. If they made primers and powder at least 2 of my loads would be 100% Hornady components.
