For these online firms, who are you using/recommending? How old can a sample be and still be accurately aged? I have several I'd like to send in but I don't know if they're still viable. TIA.

I guess you’re talking about cementum annuli aging.
I feel like who we use is real good but don’t know enough to say the best.
Called “deerage” I guess. Wildlife Analytical Laboratories outa Missoula. Used to be outa Burnet Tx but bought out by a real sharp gal a few years back. Used to be able to get her on phone herself sometimes.
I don’t think any of the aging techniques are that accurate.

We have used deer age as well. I don’t know how a curate it is, but they generally come back in line with what we were expecting.

I just don't like how they ask questions about weight and your estimate of the deer's age,
