 lost my hunting buddy, Rudy today

My black lab had been doing kinda ruff the last few months due to age, I kinda knew this day was enevidable but today my hunting buddy passed. He was a great friend, hunter and companion. I hope you enjoyed our last time in the feild the otherday and You will be missed Rudy!

I am so sorry to read about your loss .It is a very sad thing to lose a good dog and friend like that . You never can be prepared for it . RIP to him .

Thats a hard loss, my lab died last year he was 2 days away from his tenth b-day. He developed prostate cancer and died 6 months later after 2 ops. I dont think a day goes by I dont think about something funny or retarded he did.

It's never easy, my childhood dog died 8 years ago September, we had her 10 years to the day. My friend recently lost her lab, was only 3 years old. That was pretty rough, I've got two yellow lab sisters that'll be 3 in oct. They really do become part of your family, that's something a non dog owner will never be able to understand.
I'm sure you'll feel Rudy beside you everytime you walk out into a field.

i hate to hear that, but you have to remember that he had the life of kings. he always had food, water,and the most important part love. i hope you find a small amount of peace in the next few days and i will pray for rudy.
