The model 12's are some of the MOST ACCURATE off the shelf rifles that you can buy. Bump for a great rifle. They are not pretty-but man will they shoot! A bit heavy on the barrel end and not light to carry for field hunting.. They do really well out of blinds, or shooting off of benches. I have one in 243 that has won many bets using hand loads. sub moa with pretty much any ammo you put through it.. bug-holes with hand loads. I have 5 22-250's already or I would take this one off your hands. Someone is going to get a SUPER accurate rifle... You know how they say Remingtons-after thousands of dollars of work to "true" them shoot well? The Savage 12's can shoot better than a prepped Remington... I know because I have outshot a few guys that thought their Remingtons were the best around.. The only thing the 12's need is a trigger job, or aftermarket trigger.

Good luck with the sale.
