Shot a bow for the first time 2 weekends ago. Been on the hunt for a cheap starter. Bought a Silverhawk from someone here on the forum. Got it setup today and just picked it up the the archery place. Got to shoot it there and got a nice group a couple of times.
Man i'm hooked. all i'm thinkin about is going home to shoot it. My wife got hooked too (but this one is harder for her to pull, it's a 55# and our first time was on a 35#er)
Just felt the need to confess my new addiction, lol...

welcome to the club. I started about ten years ago and still shoot about 4 times a week. You should check out your local bow club (if there is one near you) and enter some 3-d shoots. They are a blast!

Welcome. I made the mistake of shooting a bow about three years ago. Several hundred dollars later, I don't really want to hunt with anything else. Welcome to the Addiction.

Welcome. It's great your wife is involved too. Mine is, and it really helps with her understanding my bow hunting "needs".
