I'm currently smoking a pork butt to eat in various ways during the upcoming "arctic armageddon". Anyone else doing this sort of thing?

No way......I`m going to binge on Chili and Chicken and Dumplings for 3 days. I used to make a big pot of chili and a pot of stew before storms blew in. Now I have gotten lazy since I learned what I can do with an air fryer.

Cold smoking would be all we could get going this weekend. We're sitting at 0 right now and just getting colder next 2 days.
I'm in the soup and maybe a casserole mindset for the weekend.
Chicken and dumplings today.
Maybe enchiladas tomorrow or Monday.

I made the monggo bean dish and it was superb. Perfect for a frigid day. By the way, we are at 7 degrees here in Sweetwater this morning.
