So, I was looking for a notification sound for the cameras on my pig corral traps and the list included a "Retro" section, and under that was "Clavinet". I heard it and immediately liked it! It was a sound from my youth, but from a keyboard instrument I'd never heard of, or at least never focused on. So...for all you funky bastards...I give you...the clavinet.

Catchy. So, did you choose this for the pig trap notification?

Wow. Stevie. Geez what gifts. "Talking Book" came out in 1972 when I was still a college freshman, and then "Songs in the Key of Life" in 1976. I don't think anyone knew when Little Stevie Womder came along with his harmonica in the 1960s that he would be such a major player.

Good stuff. Funny how the only one who could hold a candle to Stevie on this song is... well, Stevie.

It’s not really fair to compare anyone to SRV.

Yes, yes I did. 'Just gotta get the cell gate I ordered in and installed. I have to get busy. 'Place looks like a bomber training range.

Sturgill Simpson employed a clavinet player on the Sailor's Guide to Earth tour.

Pass the gravy.
