Anybody have any experience with the pistol listed? I know everybody hates the Taurus pistols but this one seems to get really good reviews. Just wondering if anybody has some real world experience with one.

I don't have the OSS version, but I have the regular PT24/7 and my dad had one also. Both great pistols. Less hassle than any of my Springfields or Rugers over the years. My Colt is the only thing that's been as reliable.

They are good quality and to top that, the trigger is quite good for a striker fired pistol

My dads hasn't been fired much (he's gone now so he only shot maybe 50-100 rounds through it in all the years he had it), but I've got thousands of rounds through mine without a single jam or malfunction of any kind.

Thanks for the info. Haven’t made up my mind yet. Anybody else.

had one when they were new idk 10-12 years ago. decent gun, jammed occasionally. Wouldnt take it over a police trade in glock but they are ok.

I have had a regular 24/7 and a Millennium pro that both worked great. Lots of other Taurus products I've been happy with as well.

You sell or trade your crappy gun before you even know

There is not a public safety agency in existence that allows such garbage brands

I had a double action 4" Taurus in .357 for a few days that was better than decent. I'm not buying one of their autos though.

Pass the gravy.

I lean towards not making strong/resolute comments about things I have no clue about. I think you’d be well served to do the same.

Didn’t hurt my feelings at all. Just making recommendations so you appear less stupid next time.

Yes I enjoy trading and am always on the hunt trying different things. Dosent mean I don't use them, also I don't trade/sell everything I own. I personally like Taurus , but that's just my two cents.

Taurus sucks.

Yep

Now it’s turned into a challenge just to see how good it really is.

I certainly would not take advice from any government agency. If you live your life following government advice I’m surprised you’ve made it this long.

But you'd take advice from strangers on this small forum over Law Enforcement Agencies and Militaries all over the world?

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

I would take handgun advice from BIL anytime. He knows what he's talking about.

I’m not opposed to taking advice from anyone but it would be nice to get it from someone with first hand knowledge instead of a blanket “pos Taurus” or “why tare a chance” or “Taurus sucks”. I agree they have a bad reputation but I’m sure they have also built something good, after all they’re still in business.
