Well...the speed is back but the PMs are gone. We'll survive.
If there had been a choice between keeping PMs and getting a nice, fast website back I'd have said "how soon can we trash those PMs?"

If there had been a choice between keeping PMs and getting a nice, fast website back I'd have said "how soon can we trash those PMs?" Doubt that it had to come to that. There are always backups.

There are three older PMs I would like the information from. Is there any way to get that? I don't need to keep them as PMs. Sure am glad the speed is back. Almost stopped using the Forum due to being so slow.

Had a deal going with someone on a stock I am no longer using and now aI don't know who it was. But hey if the site goes faster, it will be a minor speed bump.

I doubt we will be in this position again, but one option for members is to click on your username top right of page, then preferences, and check the box to receive an email when a pm is sent to you. You then should receive an email copy of each pm as you get them. Set up email message rules to download them into a dedicated email folder without deleting them and you will have a searchable database of your emailed pm messages

Yes. Thought we all did that so we could know to respond ... but some people delete email and texts too. I wish I had PMs but it's my fault I didn't save them. The weirder thing for me is I don't have any of my saved/watched topics any more.
