Let's just say this gun is not for sale.

I shot 7 total shots from Hornady Precision Hunter 175 grain ELDX. 2 to get it zeroed at 75 yards after boresighting. 2 more dialing it in at 100 yards. Then a 3 shot group dead center 1.5 inches high. All 3 shots nearly touched in a triangle. It was close to touching.

Then I shot 2 dead center 1.25 high within a half an inch of each other with Hornady Outfitter CX 160 grain.

Both should be close to dead on at 200 yards.

The recoil is very mild with the Ruger factory muzzle break. It is loud and the blowback goes out to the side according to my nephew. I never felt any.

I am in love with this gun. 1/2 inch groups with factory ammo.... rifle aim

It likes to feed from the AICS mag way better than feeding an individual round.

The scope is absolutely perfect for me also. I'm very Pleased.

Isn't that the truth on the missing. I certainly feel like I got lucky on this one.

I've been interested in 7MM PRC since it was announced. Especially with solid factory ammo backing it, I may have to disappoint my wife and buy another gun.

Congratulations. This sounds like the start of a beautiful relationship.

I made a mistake in my post. This magazine is a single stack not a AICS magazine. I'm dumb. I thought since it wasn't flush fit it was AICS.

Fed well regardless.

I have the same rig and have almost exact results. I did get those after adjusting the trigger pull as far as it would go from factory 5 lbs to 3 lbs. With the brake and the pad, the recoil is not bad at all and surprising since that round is 10 lbs heavier than a 270.

I absolutely love my set up and thanks for posting the CX 160 grain results, I have yet to fire that load. For the money, the gun is fantastic and allows you to put more money into your optics.

You're Welcome! I can't take credit though... onlysmith&wesson is the one that let me know about the 160 grain. Glad to hear your results are the same.

I actually achieved my groups with a bipod as well. It took me a bit to get used that and a couple of trips to the range but the trigger pull adjustment was just huge for me. I was close to 3" groups with the 5 pound pull. Mine groups so well with the ELDX I am not even sure I will buy the 160. Still great post and I'm so incredibly happy with this gun.

I thought about a bipod but I have always used a "Bull Bag" type bag. It's just what I am used too. I may play with the trigger some this Spring.

It is easy to adjust Bobcat but you do have to remove the stock. Watch a Youtube vid it is really easy. I usually sight in all my guns with bags but wanted to use the bipod to get used to it as I would obviously use that in the field on a western hunt. Again great post.

I can't count the times I've been on a spot and stalk and needed a steady rest, been able to drop to the ground, deploy the bipod and make a very long shot. Also, a lot of my set ups are semi-permanent, clip some tall grass and with my bipod I'm hunting. So, I sight in with a bipod.
