I’ve got some giant axis every year and we’ve averaged well over 33” for the last 10 years, and have taken numerous record book animals with clients. good luck in your endeavors. My place in Kerr county has seen a decrease in axis. Partly due to freeze and or extreme heat as well as trapping.
