Waiting on the wife the other day and was a perusing a local pawn shop. I saw, what I thought was a rusty, beat up 10/22 with a scope on it. It was listed at $200.
After looking at it up close, it was rattled caned tan and brown. Has a Vortex Crossfire II on top of it. An extended mag release, but only one factory 10rnd mag.
I was able to talk them down to $170 out the door. Now I just got to take it out and see how she runs.

If it doesn't already have the upgrade, Kidd Trigger Kit. Game changer.

Yep. Then you get to looking at your rifle and not a single piece of the original Ruger 10-22 remains.

Enjoy it Boomstick. I go through phases and sometimes don't shoot mine for months or even a year or so. We (mostly my daughter) put about 400 rounds through the week of Thansgiving. 10/22 is a lot of cheap fun.

That’s a fun gun, I bought a 10/22 with more of the features I wanted like a thumb hole stock and a bull barrel, you’re better off than I was with the scope you got, but it is a great ride around and plink gun!

I do agree with ntxtrapper though, the customizations are endless and you can go down a perpetual rabbit hole.
