For a precision .22lr. More for bench shooting and plinkin coons off a deer feeder. Scope under $1000. Kinda lightweight (no Arken). I still prefer SFP and MOA.

Higher end on the magnification 24>

I think i'd do a 4-16x Trijicon of some sort, depending on preferences like reticle. I just saw this and it would be what i'd get. i'm a trijicon fanboy.

Vortex Razor LHT is the only scope I know that meets all your criteria. It is a little over budget but you can afford it money bags.

It has a great warranty.

Actually this Trijicon meets it too at 22.9 ounces and under $900.

Athlon Heras SPR, 6-24x56, SFP, MOA reticle w/ floating dot center. $750ish. Over your weight criteria but quit being a sissy, you’re shooting off a bench or whatever is inside your blind, weight will only help.

I put a Bushnell Prime on my very, very expensive Anschutz 22 and I really liked that scope. Didn't get to 24x, but I've never needed that kind of mag on a 22. They're not accurate enough to matter by the time you get out to where you'd need that magnification.

Since I sold a kidney to get one I still recommend the ZCO 527. Not the 840. You should just come off of some that old money and get it done. You really only need one kidney.

That is a killer deal on the Midas if it’s still good. I have that exact scope and it’s been great.

I chose a plain jane leupold fixed 4x28 for a light weight rimfire. Has a fine duplex reticle and it helps me to shoot a tight group. I have one on a Crickett .22 for one of the kids and another on my Beeman R9. Great scope abd probably the most light weight scope made that is durable enough for a spring piston air rifle. Like 8 ounces.

Might not the thing for a precision .22, if you are trying to dial in drop and hold for wind. But inside of 60 yards or so I think it is perfect.

The duplex reticle gives me plenty of reference points to hold for drop out to 50 with the R9, it would probably work fine to 70 or 80 with a .22LR.

Other than that, if uou are looking for a variable scope with side focus or etc I would imagine a VX3HD or VX Freedom Leupold scope with variable magnification and side focus would give you the most light weight package with clear glass at a price point, with a variety of reticles to choose from.

Or maybe an SWFA ultralight. That is probably the lightest overall variable power scope for this purpose.

I always look for light weight and durable in a scope.

I forgot about the 24x magnification in my rambling. A Leupold VX3HD 8-24x is like 21 oz. and cost around $700.

Hawke makes a fan freaking tastic scope at a price point. Here is the airmax https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1025217426?pid=308939

That 6-24x Hawke is a pretty awesome scope but it is heavier. Might get some funny looks on the range but if there are serious airgunners present, they know.

I think what you need is an EFR. It’s only a 3-9x, but it has adjustable parallax and can focus clear up close, has very fine duplex reticle, and weighs 12 ounces, $400. And probably the best hunting scope you can get for a rimfire or a air rifle. I might be biased.

Regardless if you want a fine reticle in a scope you can’t go wrong with a leupold fine duplex. I think they make a VX3HD in a little higher mag, and VX5HD I think higher than that. The VX5 is probably $2,000 though. I be window shopping on Leupold all the time.

It’s that old school redneck thinking. Leupold is still #1 to me.

Here is the VX3 HD EFR in 6.5-20x with a fine duplex, it’s $800 and weighs 18 ounces

https://www.leupold.com/vx-3hd-6-5-20x40-efr-cds-t-fine-duplex

And here is the same thing with side focus for $950, weighs 21 ounces

I had the top one on my Kidd Super Grade. Its a great scope. I had the 8.5-25X50 version of the bottom one. Great as well. Ive thought about them. Maybe they are too old school, I do like a Zero Stop feature.

Athlon may be the choice
