I was at the grocery store this afternoon. A slow day, and I was second in line behind a rather strange looking fellow. When he left, the girl checker and the girl bagger were chattering about the guy. I asked if the guy was strange, and they said maybe a little but he wasn’t as strange as some. Both gals were friendly and talkative and that statement caused me to ask if they ever got any crazy people in there. I mean, ya gotta ask. Then the checker gal looked both ways to be sure the boss wasn’t looking, and told me about the cat guy. A small guy that came into the store wearing cat ears, furry gloves, and a collar with a tag on it. He proceeded into the pet section and bought a bunch of cat food and litter.

Any of you people know that guy? Probably a big city type fellow. Surely not country folk.

One son-in-law told me once that he's "a cat person." He has always hated our dogs. I get to spend a week with him starting next week.

And...stop flirting with the help. Your're gonna get a reputation. I don't wanna have to come up there and post bail. 'Wouldn't be my first time.

Google up "furries". Kids had to explain it to me the 1st time they pointed one out and since then I see them here and there. The tail sticking out of the pants or skirt is usually a pretty good indicator.

I don't know that particular person, but I do know some furries from the university. I try not to judge, because their walk in this life is not mine, but that's one I truly don't understand. Kinda like people that pay for feet pics...I don't get that either. I work on feet all day everyday...Feet are not sexy.

Don’t know any and haven’t noticed any.

As for where yours is from, probably close by
where y’all buy your groceries.

Creek, that's funny about the SIL. Can old school men be cat people? My boys better not marry cat ladies.

I admit to being more of a cat lover than a dog lover. Growing up, the family had both.

Anyway, Creekrunner, I’m old enough to be invisible. I could flirt and not even be noticed, though the obese women at the WalMart checkouts occasionally flirt my way. Not good.

And someone mentioned the Furries wearing a Tail. The checkout gal did mention that he had a tail, which I forgot to add. She didn’t say that the cat guy was real young. Are there Furries older than teen years?

I like cats more than dogs but I don't dress like a cat or 💩 in cat litter. That's major mental disorder.

Dogs- These humans feed me, bathe me and give me shelter.....they must be God.

I judge furries....they are mentally ill dipsh*ts.

Furries get to do things while in their persona that they are too scared to do as their day to day self. I have known a bunch of furries and a disproportionate number of them are school teachers.

Never got the foot thing either. My ex used to rent out the Lizard Lounge once or twice per year and host a foot fetish night. It was huge money maker for her and the models.

We had a guy in Missouri at USCIS they called “wolf boy” because his teeth and his ears were surgically made into canines. Rumor had it he also had a tail. There was also an almost 7ft tall dude that cross dressed daily. He/she really stood out! Weird place.

It is because of this type of thing that I avoid Denton like the plague nowadays. It's always been full of hippies, but it's ridiculous now.

Usually a butt plug shaped like the penis of the type of animal that they have adopted as their peraona although a lot of female bunnies like one patterned after a wolf or canine.

I'm glad we have furries but I prefer the term "trans-species." It points out the ridiculousness of the "I can identify as anything I want" mentality. I remind people who defend the transgender crowds that gender isn't special. So if it's ok to live your life based on imaginary gender, you could live your life based on an imaginary ethnicity or an imaginary height or an imaginary weight or an imaginary wealth level, etc. rolleyes

Seems that a lot of people live on an imaginary income level.

And…I could have gone ALL day without blkt2 telling us how the tails are often ‘attached’ - in the gerbil zone. Yuck!

Cicero would be proud of how you slid the phrase "Gerbil Zone" into a comment about how grossed out you were.
