Great pics... reminds me of a great hog/dog hunt down in College Station. Only their dogs had more body armor on. The pit had a full suit that it stepped into and latched up the back. It even had flaps by the hind legs. The other dogs just had the thick collars around their necks. Great action pics though.

how do you train a dog for hog hunting?? just like any training, there are many ways. one way to do it is to just take ur dogs out in the pasture... next thing u know, they have a hog bayed up. thats one way. the other could be to just take ur dog out with other hog dogs and let it learn how to work. another way is to get a piglet when the pup is a couple months old, and just let em play together. the dog will learn what it needs to do. a lot of it comes naturual to these dogs. they already have the want to kill lanything they come across, the trick is breaking them from goin after "trash"

sounds like you've done it a few times before! I don't have the screen yet, I'd love to have one though. I'm still crawling through the briars with the old beep beep tracking system that looks like a doppler radar strapped to my back. my buddy has the garmin though, it's pretty nice.

I bought the garmin a while back and love it. I put the topo graphs on there and it's great. Really helps when your dogs get way out there.
