Evening all, does anyone have any idea where I might buy some #11 caps for the upcoming muzzle loader season? I’m unable to locate any.

Thanks

These guys have them but they are pricey to get shipped due to hazmat fees. They are only abut 20 miles from me so when I need something I just drive over. If you really need them here they are.

I thought Bass Pro or Cabelas, but not on their site, Academy has them on their site, but says out of stock. Scheels if you have one of those around you might be an option. Maybe look for some Blackpowder forums near you on Facebook or something and ask there since you are running short on time. Otherwise, I guess pay hazmat and get the cry over. Seems like these wouldn't have hazmat fees, but then again, anything "explosive" I guess makes sense.

If you were closer, I could spare a few if you're in a pinch. But paying a hazmat fee would probably be cheaper than paying for gas to drive up here and get them. Is there still a shortage on these?

Can't find any musket caps ?
I had musket nipples for my percussion guns for back when they had a
"shortage " some years ago
Works as well if not better than #11

Surely someone within a 30 minute drive has a few
to spare without having to drive up to the metromess

I'll be in Navarro County next weekend or new years week. At least that wouldn't be all the way to the metromess. I can't spare a ton, but I can spare enough to get him a little range time and through ML season.

i know this is a couple of weeks old. But, Bass Pro Shop in Pearland has lots of no. 11. I had to ask a guy. But, he found a big box in the back. Said he would put them out on the display as I was leaving.
