I pay attention to brands also and the DBs that think they are "really going to excel" wearing them. 98% are just desperately trying to escape thier everyday life. Why do you pay attention to DBs? Walmart brands can't compete. Regardless, you're free to wear what you want. And, for me, there's no desperation; I'm not escaping every day life because day in and day out I have a great life. It happens to include great hunting trips which are enhanced by better performing clothing and gear. In some regards you seem small minded, jealous, and angry. Chill out and broaden your horizons.

'Speaking of army surplus - I have my dad's WWII insulated flight pants that he wore as a RO in a B24 in the south Pacific at the tail-end of the war. He was 22 I believe. There's only one son-in-law's skinny azz that might fit inside them. And he's...well, I digress. I just can't throw them away. I actually wore them hunting a couple of times, many, many years, and pounds, ago.

I quite like where I live, it supports my lifestyle but gets me far enough away from the BS that I don’t have to lock my doors and worry about my vehicles. If you stopped thinking you’re better than everybody else for 2 seconds, you might see that there is a world outside of your miserable existence that’s worth exploring. Thinking about my last "interaction", something doesn't add up. I don't think we're dealing with a grown man, at least not mentally. 'Wouldn't be the first "fiction writer" on here. The knee-jerk retorts style, word choice, and the relentless tunnel vision of one monotonous disdain regarding what someone's address is speaks to a severe lack of maturity, or, at a minimum, some sort of damage.
