What are y'all getting your wives for Christmas?

It's usually a last-minute purchase. I need time to get an idea. Another reason I miss the printed ads..

Mine wanted a full length mirror with a wood frame that matches the bedroom .

Bought mine massage coupons last year...she still hasn't used them!

We don't buy for each other.

This. After the first year of marriage, we quit that stuff- would rather save the money. And this goes for every occasion... life is much better. If we want something, we'll just go get it.

My family unanimously decided this year that we all have plenty of everything we want or need.

With the exception of grandkids, no gifts for anyone, and the grandkid's gifts cannot be toys - they have too many now.

I've been asking for years for them to skip me I guess it finally registered.

So now our Christmas will just be family, friends, food and fellowship. I gottta say that I love the whole idea.

Don't give her gift cards.

We basically do not do gifts, but use the holidays as a chance to get something extra that would be nice to have.
The wife is picking up a new vacuum, I am getting a new lathe. Christmas day will be for the granddaughter.

Got her an RC-F 3 years ago. Still got credit left for that.

Last year was a treadmill. This year I’m thinking it will be a vacuum.

Same thing she gets every other day of the year….me in her life! I get the same from her! We don’t don”gifts”. If we want something we just get it.

It's a trap! Take her to buy one after Christmas. Get some flowers at least.

No cookware,,,, no appliances for cleaning ! Clothes, shoes, boots, jewelry,,newest perfumes and guns lots of guns. Guns work every time , pistols for ladies.

my wife loves clothes, I used to make a (painful) effort to go shopping and buying things I "thought" she would like and wear. 99.8% of the time they didn't fit or she wasn't fond of, and took them back. And of course the things she liked that didn't fit were no longer in stock. I gave up. I now just tell my daughter to buy a few clothing items for my wife to be from me and I'll listen for small stuff during the year she requests (but would never buy on her own) and put in her stocking.

I would never consider any type of appliance unless she specifically asked for it (which would likely be bought throughout the year when needed, not as a gift).
