I have been eating at Mac’s Bar in Grill in south Arlington for over 30 years and have NEVER had a prime rib bad. Every time it’s tender with the perfect flavor. Just had dinner there tonight. Amazing again!

That looks really good. Gonna be up there in January and need to take some folks out.

Macs was our favorite restaurant when we lived around there. Never had a bad meal there.

Never cared for prim rib. Cook one most years for Christmas but I prefer a grilled ribeye to roasted.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Definitely would! I usually roast a whole rib for the Saturday after Thanksgiving but we just did grilled filet and ribeye this year. This pic made me miss it. I really prefer to only roast the WHOLE rib, but you need a good 15 people for that with a few leftovers. I good horseradish sauce is also key for that meal!

Never cared for prim rib. Cook one most years for Christmas but I prefer a grilled ribeye to roasted. Same. I equate it to turkey. Every year I get a little excited and then the first bite Im instantly reminded that its not that great. Grilled ribeye, or any cut for that matter, for me.

Best place I've ever had it is Perini Ranch, absolutely delicious

Been there too, never had the prime rib. Is it always on the menu?

Is Lawrey's Prime Rib still in business? I remember the "Dallas" cut back in the 80's was pretty dang good. The guy would slice it at your table, their special "spinning" salad made tableside and finish it off with the BEST coconut cream pie ever.

Never been big a prime rib fan and haven't had it there, but I know folks rave about it. Mac's is and always has been fantastic. I've also been going there for decades and we love it. The fact that it's stayed in business for so long in that oddball location says it all.

Prime rib is the best way to ruin a good steak.
Prime rib is the single most over rated meat. Period end of story.
