Went there for lunch prior to my appointment at Discount Tar. Need rear tars. Two tars are $700. Golly gee whiz!
Anyway, at BWW I asked the young lady taking our order who was brave enough to order their hottest sauced wings. She was shy, but said “drunk people”. I then asked what those folks do after eating some of the wings. And she said “they cry and then they beg for ice cream”.
Have any of you people, drunk or sober, ever ordered their hottest wings!

I did a few years ago, they weren’t too bad at all. But they may have changed it up since then, I have a tennis tournament coming up. Ill talk one of the kids into trying them and report back, haha

I have ordered the sauce on the side to dip into, I didn't want to waste an order on something I wouldn't be able to eat. I was right, way too hot for me, I can't handle heat very well.

I've had the Blazin' (what they call their hottest ones) a few times, they're not that bad, but I do like stuff really hot.
One time at Pluckers I had their hottest which they call Fire in the Hole. They weren't that bad. Ordered them again the next time in there and the waitress asked "Are you sure? They're really hot!" I said yeah, I had them last time and they were no big deal. She told me she'd tell the chef to kick them up a little then. When she brought them out of the kitchen, I could smell them from 20 yards away. They were HOT. I made it through but was incapacitated the rest of the day and most of the night.

BW3 or B-Dubs. Random: While attending OSU (the real, original OSU, not the wannabe up north of us) I ate at the original BW3 countless times. A long time friend of mine got 2nd place in a BW3 wing eating contest winning a trip to Hawaii. I think 1st got a car, cash, and wings for life or something like that.

Yeah I’ve had two, not bad. I feel like Pluckers’ fire in the hole are hotter

BWW doesn’t have the hottest wings. Depending on the day, it’s either Wing Stop or Pluckers, just depends on how angry the chef is those days. Problem is, once you start going for the hottest, you lose any good flavor that existed. I stick with primarily mango habanero as it’s a good blend of heat & flavor

Just to say it, I personally am not looking for the hottest wings. I think this is the time for another discussion on wing quality.

Love flavor, but I crave capsaicin. I love everything hot pepper and used to grow a few hundred plants a year, many of which were pretty impressive. I've met a lot of guys that eat really hot stuff because they're trying to show off for whatever reason. Me, I just like really hot food and I have since I was a little boy. I like to sweat when I eat and do it almost daily. I love peppers. They're damn good for you. If I ever burn my a**hole out, then I'll get a new one.

We’ve been to the newer one over by City Lake. Their wings are half as big as the Pluckers wings I remember. They’re pathetic. Service and food in general at that location sucks compared to other locations I’ve been to.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

Mango Hab is and Caribbean jerk are my favorite. They're about as hot as I can go though. I got some mango hab from Austin Pluckers that set me on fire one time. Think the chef was messing with me, because I've never gotten them that hot before.

They changed the recipe a few years ago and they are much hotter now than they used to be. I used to eat the Blazin every time I went there and they were not that bad. I don't enjoy them anymore they are too hot now for me.

BWW are not the hottest or the best, but they do taste great straight out the fridge the next day.

I tried the Nashville Hot, but wasn’t real fond of it. This last visit I just got the Medium and hoped it would be hot enough. They used to have a sauce I really liked, which was just hot enough, but it’s not on the menu these days. As for you guys that went right to the top of the heat chart, I am impressed, but I won’t be trying to outdo you. It does make me feel a bit wimpy that I went for Medium.
A year or two ago, BWW had a special, where if you ate a dozen of the top hot sauce wings, you got your name on a whiteboard and you got a T shirt proclaiming your toughness. I asked if anybody had done that, and the gal said she had one guy that tried it. Said he ate all 12, jumped up to dash to the men’s room and almost made it. Gave all the wings back on the floor.
Years ago, when I worked in downtown Houston, the guy I worked for said that Texas food needed to be at least hot enough to cause your forehead to sweat.
Not my monkeys, not my circus...
